BOMARE COMPANY Participates in Huawei ICT Job Fair 2024 in Algiers
The Huawei ICT Job Fair 2024 opened its doors on Saturday, November 16th, at the Palais des Expositions (Safex) in Algiers, bringing together students, recent graduates, and professionals in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). This annual event, which aims to promote employment opportunities in this dynamic sector, stood out this year with the participation of many key players in the industry, including BOMARE COMPANY, a pioneer in the electronics sector. BOMARE took advantage of the occasion to offer internships and employment opportunities to young Algerian talents. Organized by Huawei, the ICT Job Fair’s main goal is to facilitate the recruitment of young talent in the rapidly growing ICT sector in Algeria. In 2024, the event saw the participation of nearly 1,500 students and graduates from Huawei ICT Academies from various regions of the country. These young professionals had the chance to meet major industry companies, including BOMARE COMPANY, which offered concrete opportunities for internships, training programs, and permanent positions. The fair took place simultaneously with the final day of the Algiers International Book Fair (SILA), providing a convergence space for young people passionate about both technology and culture. This coincidence helped to maximize the event’s visibility and attracted a diverse audience, especially young individuals interested in innovation and new technologies.
BOMARE COMPANY and HBCEB Unite for a Day of Awareness and Solidarity during Breast Cancer Awareness Month
BOMARE COMPANY, under its commercial brand STREAM, had the pleasure of sponsoring the Pink October event in collaboration with HBCEB. This event, dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer, brought together participants for educational and sporting activities. From 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM, the day was filled with exchanges, creativity, and conviviality. At 12:00 PM, the teams were warmly welcomed and directed towards the various activities offered, creating a friendly and dynamic atmosphere. The first activity was an awareness session, where participants were informed about the importance of health and preventive measures, particularly through a self-examination demonstration. This key moment allowed everyone to gain essential knowledge for taking care of their health. Following this awareness session, a creative workshop allowed participants to design their own jewelry, promoting artistic expression and relaxation. This creative space strengthened the bonds among participants, offering them an enjoyable moment of sharing. Subsequently, a nutrition workshop was held, where experts shared practical advice on adopting a balanced diet. Participants learned about the importance of nutrition in maintaining good health and received simple tips to incorporate better eating habits into their daily lives. The event took a dynamic turn with friendly matches between sponsor teams and HBCEB. These sporting activities fostered camaraderie, teamwork, and conviviality among participants, putting into practice the values of solidarity and sharing.
Visit of the ILO and KOICA to BOMARE COMPANY: A Step Forward for Vocational Training in Algeria
BOMARE COMPANY had the honor of welcoming the International Labour Organization (ILO - UNO Member) and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) members to its factory in Birtouta. This visit, part of the STED (Skills Training for Economic Development) project, underscored the critical importance of enhancing vocational training for engineers in Algeria. The delegation was warmly received by our factory director, Mr. Damiche Mohamed. The STED project aims to improve the quality of vocational training and strengthen the connection between education and industry. Through this initiative, the ILO and BOMARE COMPANY are working together to create training programs that meet the evolving demands and necessary skills of the labor market. BOMARE COMPANY is committed to driving innovation and quality within the electronic industry. The involvement of the ILO and KOICA reinforces our ongoing efforts to provide high-quality vocational training. During their time at our facility, the experts engaged in fruitful discussions about the challenges and opportunities facing vocational education, emphasizing the necessity of strong connections between education and industry. Additionally, BOMARE COMPANY's collaboration with the academic world specially through one of its famous project “the Professional Master” with the University of Blida 1 was highlighted, showcasing our commitment to practical education and benefits. The two parties, have once again confirmed their commitment to continue and strengthen actions for practical and quality education. This visit offered a valuable opportunity to explore the role that companies like BOMARE play in shaping educational content. As a leader in the electronic industry, we recognize the importance of aligning training programs with industry needs. Such dialogue highlights our critical role in developing skilled professionals in Algeria. Moreover, the visit provided insights into the Korean experience in vocational training. KOICA stressed the significance of effective strategies for promoting exports and strengthening partnerships between businesses and educational institutions. Nam Oun-Young, a KOICA expert and professor at Dongguk University, shared valuable knowledge on training methods and industrial practices that can inform our approach at BOMARE COMPANY. A key focus of the discussions was the integration of industrial management principles into training curricula for future graduates and industry operators. By aligning educational content with practical applications, BOMARE COMPANY aims to better prepare students for successful careers in the electronic sector. This approach is essential for enhancing workforce skills and improving Algeria's overall educational ecosystem.
